The latest poll results are in and the overwhelming majority of you (86%) love the Mac vs PC ads. A mere 8% of you dislike them and 6% have no opinion.

Personally I have mixed feelings about the ads. They lack class and have an overall feeling of smugness to them. That being said I think they get the message across which in the end is what it’s all about.

I’m a big fan of Apple’s other campaigns, but Mac vs PC I can do without.

I’ve heard mixed responses to the Mac vs. PC ads and I’m interested in what the MacTips community thinks.

This poll was a little different because you could select up to 3 answers. As expected, the majority of you own an iPod Classic, with the Nano being the next most popular.

The iPod Touch and iPhone had nearly identical results coming in 3rd and 4th.

The iPod Shuffle seems to be the runt of the pack, with more users not owning an iPod at all than owning the shuffle.

In hindsight allowing multiple options probably confused more users and skewed the results a little.

I also should have included older models such as the iPod Mini with their current replacements.

And finally I should have added another option for users who don’t own an iPod, but do own another MP3 player such as the Zune.

Expect the next poll to be much more straight forward.

This was a badly worded poll, but I wanted to know what level difficulty of tips you want to see more of. The results are in, 55% of you want to see more advanced tips. Intermediate tips came in second at 38% and easy tips came in last at 7%. There were 246 votes in total.

We hear you, and well be writing more Intermediate/Advanced tips from now on.

The latest poll results are in. The question was "Have you upgraded to Leopard 10.5 yet?"

Leopard users are the majority in a landslide. There were 677 votes in all with 75% of you using Leopard right now. Another 19% said you don’t have Leopard yet, but you plan on upgrading soon.

And finally 6% said you have no plans to upgrade. I’d like to hear back from this group–why no plans on upgrading?
