Just for Laughs - The iCar is Real - and FOR SALE

It’s the weekend, so no MacTip today, but I was driving home from taking my daughter to see a movie, and I drove past THIS…

Yup - that’s right…the iCar is REAL! Sure, it looks like a Ford Escort covered in spray paint, but the person selling it is a marketing genius.

Here’s a closer look.

Whoever decided to do this put “iCar” clearly on both sides…and I’m half tempted to buy it just for a laugh. I need a second car anyway.

   meh.. not feelin' the first 2 posts by Apple Gazette.. If my company owned this blog (after taking so much time off) i would ensure that the first, second, and third posts would be captivating, intriguing, and up to the standard left by the original owner..
   
   the iCar is not that funny, and the last posts with the 'Applications Stacks'.. meh,, i figured this "tip" out the 1st day i owned a mac after using a PC my entire life..

   I can appreciate your reservations, but I hope you'll give us more than 2 posts to make your decision about us on.
   
   I understand that you the video post may have seemed obvious to you, but what is obvious to one person may not be obvious to another. When searching through the archives here I've found some of the tips to be as simple as alerting someone to a setting they might not be aware of. We want to cover all aspects of tips, from the most basic of things to much more advanced stuff. Just give us time, we'll get there.
   
   And I posted the iCar thing here because I thought it was funny. Again, I checked with the archives again to make sure that sort of thing was done before, and there is a Humor category, including SNL sketches and things like that - so I figured it would be fine to post here. I get that you didn't find it to be that funny, but humor is a subjective thing.
   
   Regardless, I hope that if you'll give us a week or so you find that we're providing a variety of different tips for different skill levels....and I promise not to post lame jokes every week. :) August 24th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
