A couple weeks ago I released the new MacTips Widget, and it has been extremely popular. Its hovered around position #15 on Apple’s Top 50 Widgets. This has brought thousands of new Mac visitors to the site, so I’d like to officially welcome all of you!
Unfortunately, there was an annoying bug in the widget that it didn’t automatically update–you had to manually click popular then recent. This has been fixed, and I’ve released an updated version here.
There was also another bug with users on OS X 10.4.11. I believe I have a work around for this, so if you were experiencing issues, please contact me (brad at mactips dot org).
Please let me know of any features you’d like to see in the next version.
Update: Some users are reporting an Adobe Flash Warning. This is because I switched the video host from YouTube to Viddler. I will be switching back to avoid this warning. You do not have to change anything on your end.
