ScreenFlow: New Killer Screencasting Application

screenflowA great new app has burst onto the scene for Macs; that being ScreenFlow. ScreenFlow is an application for creating screencasts. Already ScreenFlow has more features than any other current screencasting app, (almost the same if you combined them all!) including: an awesome editor, being able to add in amazing effects, being able to simultaneously record from a video camera (such as the iSight) and your screen, and record from both you microphone and computer audio at the same time.

The developers released some thorough videos showing off it’s awesomeness which is available here.

  1. I'm really excited about this app, the only issues I've heard is it's still a little buggy.

The video, however, does look amazing.

  2. In my opinion it's still in a late beta-stage. There are still some little quirks like no custom callouts, no vertically resizable timeline, you can't define a custom region for recording, the screen clicks are not very customizable...

The application has great potential but it needs some updates and maybe the price is a little bit high.

    Greetings
