Aurora: Wake Up To the Sound of Music

Picture 1.jpg

I hate waking up to the harsh sound of an alarm clock and I’m sure many of you feel the same. Aurora is an application that solves this problem by turning your computer into an alarm clock that uses your iTunes music to wake you up.

To set up an alarm, click the green “Create” button in the top-left corner. Then set the time when you want to be woken up, as well as the days you want the alarm to go off. Afterwards, click the Playlist tab to choose your favorite playlist. Next, go to the Volume tab to adjust the volume of the alarm as well as the fade-in duration. Then proceed to the description tab to add a subtitle and time-triggered function (e.g. log-off after 1 minute. Finally, if you go to the launch tab, you can choose an application to launch upon the sounding of the alarm such as Safari or Mail.
