iPodDisk: Liberate Your Music From the iPrison

I know that that picture looks like a normal Finder window, and that may be true, but this one is special; it’s the entire contents of my stupid, stupid, useless 4 GB nano. iPodDisk unlocks any Mac formatted iPod and unlocks it so that you can rip songs from its innards.

To use it, simply enable Disk Mode from iTunes and then open iPodDisk. It will then mount the iPod as an external drive for you. From there on, drag and drop to your heart’s content.

I’ve used other applications but this one is my favorite by far because it’s so elegant. No crappy interface to deal with, no useless features, it just works. Best of all, it’s free, unlike other apps which cost in excess of $15

Before running iPodDisk, be sure to have downloaded the latest version of MacFUSE, this is IMPERATIVE or your computer will crash
