Increase Font Size In Safari

To increase the size of the font in Safari, press “Command” & “+”. To decrease the font size again, press “Command” + “-”. As you can see in the picture, this can and probably will lead to formatting issues

This is similar to the same font-scaling abilities of a PC in Firefox and some other programs, however on a PC it's ctrl- + or - to go up and down. It was pretty easy for me to sort out the font scaling on a Mac, as a brand-new switcher, the logic to many commands are the same, for instance apple-tab to switch between the two most recently selected and open apps, and holding them down to select between all open apps. I suppose a Mac appealed to me so greatly not only for the new super-pretty and super-stable (as compared to Vista or XP) OS, but for the sheer increase in mouse-free operation abilities, being able to do many things without taking my hands off the keyboard to go to the mouse to get a simple task done. It's definitely a great option for one with a back/neck injury like I have which gets aggravated by too much from-the-shoulder movement like swapping between the keyboard and a mouse too much. Keyboard shortcuts FTW!

  3. Applefaerie,
