The popular page has been revamped to help you find popular tips easier.
I thought long and hard about the best way to do this and came up with this as the best solution.
You drag the main slider to select the date range and the sliders on the right to customize the view.
I wasn’t sure how this would go over, so please give me your feedback in the comments.
I tested this on most browsers, so it should be compatible across the board.
Safari has a small glitch where it flickers the bar while loading. I couldn’t figure out how to get around this as my Javascript skills are not as sharp as they probably should be.
Like it? Love it? Hate it? Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Let me know!

Happy New Years everyone; here’s to a prosperous 2008!

I did the date range for roughly every two weeks and made the call not to display it. I did consider it however, and if you'd find it useful I can add it.
It would show something like this:
September 4, 2007 - September 28th, 2007
Thanks for the feedback Charlie.

I've made the following tweaks to the popular tips page:
1. Added the date range field as requested
2. Slider starts with most recent tips by default
3. Added another set of arrow controls at the bottom. Figured this could be useful so you don't have to go all the way back to the top to change pages.
4. Added a comments link to each entry with the number of comments. I faded the link so it's not as much of a distraction.
What do you guys think?
Any other suggestions?
Note, I know there's still strange characters appearing. I'll try and get to that in the next few days. January 2nd, 2008 at 10:33 pm

You did a great job so far. Just check into the error I mention above. January 3rd, 2008 at 12:14 pm

I believe you're seeing this behavior because the date your viewing only has a maximum of 8 entries.
This has to do with the way I designed it with grouping by weeks, I hadn't even considered the way you suggested-but now that I think of it that probably is more intuitive.
I will have this updated this weekend.
Thanks for all your help Charlie. January 3rd, 2008 at 1:19 pm
