MacWorld 2008 is quickly approaching (January 14th-18th). The keynote from Jobs will begin on January 15th at 9am.
There’s been lots of speculation about what will be announced. Everything from a new Mac Tablet to a Mac Nano to replace the Mini have been suggested. Below are my predictions, what are yours?
iMac Updates
The only reason I hope for an iMac update is because I’m holding off until MacWorld to purchase my upgrade. Granted, iMac is just barely at the end of their product cycle (Day 145/185)–but I would love an update before I upgraded.
AppleTV Update
AppleTV owners have felt neglected ever since its launch. How about some DVR, extended format support or at the very least DVD player updates?
With the rumored partnership between Apple and Fox for movie downloads–this seems like a logical update.
iPhone Update
Along with 3G updates and an improved keyboard, I see 3rd party apps coming to the iPhone sooner than expected. There should also be a bigger version of the iPod Touch.
MacBook Pro Updates
MacBook Pro’s are about 2 1/2 months behind their life cycle. They’re long overdue for an update. I think well see MacBook Pro Nano’s or perhaps a MacBook Pro Tablet here.
One more thing…the iCar
Apple has partnered with Audi to introduce the iCar! This one is wild and and ridiculous I know–but the great designers over at Mac|Life have created such a beautiful mock-up I can’t help but dream.

So there you have my predictions; what are your predictions for MacWorld 2008?
