Add Multiple Dates in Address Book

MacTips Discussions user globalrambler recently asked how to add multiple birthday’s for one contact in Address Book:

Does anyone know of any way, other than entering multiple contacts, to have multiple birth dates in Address Book. The example would be a person who has a spouse and two children. It would be good to have the birthdays under a master contact rather than entering a separate contact entry for a child.

This is actually a really useful thing to be able to do, and here is how it is done.Enter the edit mode for any contact in Address Book, then select “Card” from the menu bar, then “Add Field,” and “Dates.” By default this will bring up a new anniversary field, which can then be renamed to whatever you like. You can add as many of these fields as you’d like.
