Telekinesis: Remotely Access Your Mac Through iPhone

This is cool. You can remotely access your Mac through your iPhone using the Google code project Telekinesis.

Some of the features include:

Stream music and videos from your computer
Control iTunes with your iPhone
Browse through your file system
Capture images through iSight

I just got a little more jealous of iPhone users.

Update #2: This should also work on the iPod Touch.

Jeff, yes you can--you can access your computer from any Internet connection.

You connect to https://:5010

Also, if you have a firewall setup you'll need to configure it to allow access. January 29th, 2008 at 8:18 am

Jeff, you need to setup port forwarding.

What type of router do you have?

thanks, it worked, btw do u know it there is a way 2 use f keys or enter or command keys in screen.tapp. That would help speed things up, i have searched everywhere for the right sequeces. February 1st, 2008 at 7:51 pm
