Telekinesis: Remotely Access Your Mac Through iPhone

This is cool. You can remotely access your Mac through your iPhone using the Google code project Telekinesis.

Some of the features include:

  • Stream music and videos from your computer
  • Control iTunes with your iPhone
  • Browse through your file system
  • Capture images through iSight

I just got a little more jealous of iPhone users.

    awesome... cause i was a bit worried about the 16 gb hd being to small but now this is amazing.... cant wait to go out and get a touch now...

    can u access ur computer if not on your local subnet?

  15. Jeff, yes you can--you can access your computer from any Internet connection.

    You connect to https://:5010

    Also, if you have a firewall setup you'll need to configure it to allow access.

    that didn't work, how do u mess with the fire wall correctly

  17. Jeff, you need to setup port forwarding.

    What type of router do you have?

    thanks, it worked, btw do u know it there is a way 2 use f keys or enter or command keys in screen.tapp. That would help speed things up, i have searched everywhere for the right sequeces.
