I recently ran into a cool Quick Look plug-in that makes it so that when a .zip file is opened in Quick Look, the contents of the archive are shown instead of the default Quick Look view. The developer’s site is really confusing, so here is a direct link to the download.
To install the plug-in, place it in a folder titled “QuickLook” placed in “~/Library”, and relaunch Finder.
