View All Open Windows in All Spaces

One annoying thing about Spaces is that it can be hard to get a really good overview of all the windows you have open. You can either enter the view that shows all your Spaces (F8 by default) or use Exposé within each space, but that doesn’t always work so well.

A trick I’ve found to solve this problem is to launch the all-window view in Exposé (F9 by default) while in the F8 Spaces view, or vice-versa. This performs the Exposé effect on all your spaces simultaneously, although the effect is broken up into each Space.

  2. Even easier, which I use constantly since I have so many windows open all the time, is set a hot corner for the all windows then a hot corner (or just leave it F8) for spaces. Once spaces is open use the hot corner you set. Really fast and always reliable.

  3. Yeah, I work with it having one hot corner for All Windows and then I just hit F8 for Spaces.
