Lifehacker has an amazing, detailed tutorial on how to build a Hackintosh Mac for under $800. It involves building a computer and then “hacking” it to install Leopard. It seems like a really interesting way to get OS X for cheap.
Also, Gizmodo wrote about “hacking” an Asus Eee PC to run OS X, creating a $399 OS X laptop, here.

I recently got myself a macbook, Infact i'm typing on it now and I feel exclusive for using OS X. Having a mac is all about the fact that you have a mac, If you can have it on a crappy PC where's the fun?
