Display Window Titles in Exposé with the Keyboard

If you have many windows open at the same time for one reason or another, when you enter Exposé for all windows, the screen can get really cluttered. A trick that can help you find the window you are looking for is to press “Option” while in Exposé. This will bring up overlays with the titles of each window.

UPDATE: This is a Leopard-only feature.

This is simply not true. OS 10.4.10 - no such option exists. The windows get overlaid titles when moused over but I found no effect whatsoever.

Is this a new feature for Leopard? It doesn't seem to work in Tiger.

  4. Sorry, I didn't realize this was Leopard-only. I fixed the post accordingly.
