MacTips showed you how to return your Dock to a more Tiger-like appearance, and here is how to do the same for the menu bar.
Doing this requires simply downloading a small, free application called OpaqueMenuBar. Launching the application makes the menu bar opaque, but for some reason also changes the desktop to the default Leopard one.
Some people over at the Lifehacker post referenced below were having trouble with the application as well. Does anyone know of a Terminal script that un-translucifies the menu bar?
