Leopard’s new Parental Controls features are very flexible, and allow for a huge variety of restrictions on non-administrator user accounts. One group of these features is setting “Time Limits” for accounts, giving you the ability to limit their computer use to a specified amount of time on weekdays, another amount for weekends, and to set bedtimes for school nights and weekends.
First of all, launch System Preferences and select the “Parental Controls” preference pane from under the “System” heading. Next, select whichever one of the accounts you want to control from the list of accounts on the left. (Make sure the System Preferences are unlocked by pressing the lock on the bottom left of the window.) Now, select the “Time Limits” section from the top menu. The rest is just as intuitive. Simply hit the check mark next to each of the limiters you want to apply, and use the sliders or time selectors.

Now, if you still think your kids need more “guidance”, buy all the products shown here. ![]()
