If you use a lot of rules or smart mailboxes in Mail, you may find your newly received emails strewn all across your folder hierarchy. If you just want a quick way to go over all your new emails, you can simply create a Smart Mailbox that does this for you. Select “Mailbox” from the menu bar, and then select “New Smart Mailbox….” Enter your title, then simply change the condition to “Message is Unread.” The new folder that will be created will work similarly to the kind that appears in NetNewsWire, keeping read messages in the folder until you navigate out of it, and is fully live-updating.
