Create a Queue on your iPod

On-the-Go playlists are a great way to put together a playlist on your iPod while away from your computer, but something not many people know is that the On-the-Go playlist feature can also be used to create a queue for when you want the iPod to know which songs to play next, in a sort of “Live Playlist.”

To do this, begin by finding the song you want to listen to first, or that you are currently listening to. Hold down the center button until the song name flashes, implying that the song was added to your On-the-Go list. Next, navigate to the playlists section of the iPod and select On-the-Go playlist. Select the song you just added and begin playing it. Now, whenever you want to add another song to your queue, just add it to that On-the-Go playlist and it will be added to your queue.

I am not sure how this works on the iPhone or iPod Touch, but it should work on any iPod with the On-the-Go playlist feature.
