I’ve been tossing around the idea of bringing in another writer for the website. MacTips is at the point now where it can easily be taken to the next level with some consistent content.
So, I wanted to look for a writer here first. If you think you’ve got what it takes, send any work examples and information to brad@mactips.org.
Here are some requirements I’m looking for:
- Should visit the site at least weekly.
- There should be 2 posts each day during the week. These are not long in depth articles, but quick tips as you are used to. If you want to write 10 articles in 1 day–that’s fine.
- Should have some knowledge of OS X! The more the better!
- Should keep up with general Apple news. Don’t have to be on the bleeding edge, but the more up-to-date the better.
- Should have an interest in writing Mac tips.
- Writer will be paid $100/month. This comes out to about $1.25 per posts. It takes about 10 minutes to write a post.
If this position worked out I definitely see this becoming a more full-time position, paying $300-600/month.
If you are interested, please send some information about yourself to brad@mactips.org.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you all!
