Use Your RSS Feed as Your Screen Saver

If you’ve never snooped around in (System Preferences -> Desktop & Screen Saver), you may have missed the RSS visualizer. It reads the content from any RSS feed you select and cycles through it’s entries.

Rss-Visualizer

You can use any feed you’ve added to Safari’s RSS reader. Select the Options box to view available feeds.

Unfortunately, I use NetNewsWire, so I was forced to switch back to Safari so I could add a feed. Afterwards I switched back.

Does anybody know how to add a feed to Safari’s RSS reader without it being the default reader?

Well, I think this is what you're looking for. The RSS feeds appear to be stored in ~/Library/Syndication in a database.
