Perhaps you already knew that iTunes comes with a built in visualizer ( to start it). Did you know, however, that there’s a way to control it? Here’s how.
Once you’re in the iTunes visualizer, you can use the following keys to control it:
| Key(s) | Effect |
|---|---|
| C | Show current effects |
| Q & W | Cycle through foreground patterns |
| A & S | Cycle through background patterns |
| Z & X | Cycle through colors |
| Shift + 0-9 | Save current effect combination |
| R | Random effect |
| M |
User config slideshow mode - Cycle through saved effect combinations Freeze current config - Keep showing the current effect Random Slideshow - Go back to random visualizations |

The visualizer is quite a nice little thing to have up for parties, too. November 10th, 2005 at 1:31 pm

Glad you liked it.
I'm not sure it's the most useful tip in the world, but it is fun to play with.
Have a great weekend.
