Inverse Mode

To turn on inverse mode, type .

This will invert all of the colors on your screen.

To get out of inverse mode, type the same thing again.

  2. ...to be precise: it will invert the black-and-white version of your screen. or do you see colors? me not, on Tiger 10.3.9...

    It is actually used for people with vision problems, there are commands for all sorts of things to aid impaired people, just check them out in Sys Pref under universal access.

    That is really usefull for me when I use my computer in dark places like concert halls (I'm a recording Engineer) and don't want to create a disturbing light coming from the computer for people to be distracted by it...

    Also, ever thought of watching a movie like this... freeky!
